What is “Children of One Planet?
Founded in 2000, the ”Children of One Planet” Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes the well-being and health for children from all over the world.
The mission of “Children of One Planet” is to inspire everyone to be the voice of innocent children and to help to protect them against hunger and violence.
What has “Children of One Planet” done for the Past 22 Years?
Since 2000, “Children of One Planet” has helped orphanages and underprivileged children around the world by donating food, clothing, toys and money. These donations served as an immediate crisis aid throughout the world.
Children of One Planet has printed many educational postcards regarding child human trafficking, in order to prevent it, and how children, teens and families can look for ways to protect themselves. The educational information includes support for mental and physical health and wellness for victims and families of child human trafficking.
Our key “Children of One Planet” fund-raising event is “Dance for Hope America.” It has been a successful, annual dance show featuring professional ballroom dancers, both young and old, showcasing their dance talents to raise money for our non-profit mission. It is incredibly inspiring and I am truly grateful to have received so much support over the years from so many talented dancers.
2005-2022. Donated backpacks, toys, food, clothing and masks in 2020 for children and families in various Costa Rican villages. We will continue to provide support.
2000 - 2022. Donated money, food, clothing and masks in 2020, to orphanages in Baja Mexico. We will continue to provide support.
2020. During COVID19 we provided masks to ‘Shriner’s Medical Center for Children’, ‘Ronald McDonald House’, and ‘Sycamores in Los Angeles’.
2020. Provided food for children and women in Haiti.
2019. Donated new mattresses for children with no beds at the Dream Center in Los Angeles. The Dream Center provides food, clothing and shelter for underprivileged families.
2009. Provided 200 booths and food for children in orphanages in Armenia.
