Bobby “Bob” Green, Jr.September 12, 1926 ~ March 2, 2016Bobby “Bob” Green, Jr., 89, Marion, died at 11:27 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. He was born in Alabama to the late Robert and Kittie M. (Williams) Green, Sr. He married Magnolia McCollough in 1945, and she preceded him in death on January 2, 2004.Bob was a United States Navy veteran. He retired from General Motors, where he worked as a Tool and Die maker for over 40 years. Bob was a member of the Wilson Masonic Lodge #12 for over 50 years. He was also a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, and Elzora Temple #124.Survivors include his sons, Billy Green, Sr., Frankfort, Germany, and Jesse Green; grandson, Billy Green, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.In addition to his wife and parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his son; Robert Green, III, and his siblings; Sallie Mae Sankey, Charlotte Lusane and J.T. Faulks,Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 3225 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Rev. Al C. Green officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
