The Nissan 300C was the export name of the Cedric Y30 as far the french market could be concerned. The Cedric Y30/300C remains a fairly rare car in France as most Japanese cars failed to attract the attention of the french collectors who overwhelmingly prefer running after earlier and contemporary Honda Civics, Toyota Celicas and Land Cruiser, just to name a few. Furthermore, when the 300C was imported and made avialable at a first car dealership, the Japanses car makers were limited to a 3 % market share by french trade regulations !
